Family Botany Labs are a great way to spend time with your child! Explore science and nature together through fun hands on activities and experiments.
Strengthen, stretch, and gently tone your way to a healthy mind, body, and soul with gentle flow yoga. This class is open for all levels of experience. Bring a yoga mat and water, and wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement.
In a world of video games, iPads, computers, and smart phones, children are losing the art of
healthy play. With yoga as the foundation, these classes explore story-telling, theme activities, and
will engage the natural energy of your young yogi. Classes explore yoga poses, breathing exercises,
self-expression, positive thinking, and environmental awareness.
This class offers child and adult learning and creating together with the Conservatory’s beautiful foliage, butterflies, and the many treasures found in this tropical setting that will excite your visual creativity.
Young eyes and youthful minds will be stimulated to learn the joy of interesting subject matter. Students will be introduced to using various dry mediums; pastels, pencils, and chalk. Each class member will receive a certificate of completion, and a family showing with artwork displayed at the Conservatory one week after the class.
The class is taught by local artist Charlotte Hackin, an internationally recognized and prizewinning artist.
