Field Trips

Come Grow With Us! Take your group on a tropical excursion in the heart of the city. A field trip to the Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens is a great experience for school groups and scouts!

There are many ways to enjoy the Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens with your group:

  • Take a self-guided tour on your own or with our Plant Passport (free with admission)
  • Enjoy a 2-hour field trip class with NCG education staff

NEW! Nicholas Conservatory Field Trip Grant

Because the connection with the natural world is so important to the goals of the Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens, we are now offering field trip grants for schools that serve low-income populations. Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens field trip grants are generously provided through the Nicholas Family Foundation.

We are now accepting applications for field trips grants during our early spring season (March through Mid-April). Applications are due February 2, 2018!
